LA NEGRESSE

Close to the house is an area known as 'La Negresse' which has a fromagerie, fishmongers, greengrocer, bakery, fantastic wine shop, delicatessen, large chemist and beauty therapist, a couple of restaurants, antique and design shops.

There is an Intermarche supermarket less than 10 minutes from the house with the most fantastic fish and deli section.

BIARRITZ

You can find most of the leading fashion brands in Biarritz such as Hermes, Ralph Lauren and Gucci. Biarritz also has a good selection of young fashion and surf brands intermingled with charming stylish design shops and art galleries.

ST JEAN DE LUZ

Similar to Biarritz, St Jean de Luz has numerous art galleries and lovely shops from local to haute couture to be discovered in amongst the meandering streets (Start at Rue Gambetta). There is also a fantastic covered food market open most days.

ANGLET - Lots of surf shops, market on Friday evening during the summer season. Carrefour and many other large outlets.
